My name is Catcher (for now). I am many things, some of which I am particularly skilled at and others I’m still learning. I am a jack of all trades, daydreamer, traveler. If this is my first post you’re reading, rather than share my autobiography, I think it’d be more interesting to share some trivia about me and my thought process so you know what you’re in for.

Hometown: Jersey City, New Jersey.

If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life… It’d be the sandwich because there are plenty of options. There’s the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich for breakfast. PB&Js, the Reuben, chicken sandwich, Italian sub. The ice cream sandwich.

Favorite music artists: Anything with Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog), Gérald de Palmas, Florent Pagny, Green Day, and Bruce Springsteen.

When am I most productive? Usually between the demanding hours of 8pm and 1am.

If I could go back in time… As a single moment? I’d go to Jesus’ crucification (assuming he existed) to save him and be recorded down in the Bible. To live? I’d choose the Belle Epoque because of the 1878 World Expo in Paris, which displayed the feat of electricity, including the telephone, new architectural monuments, and more.

Quote I live by? “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” – Anaïs Nin.

Finally, favorite book and author: For fiction, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and favorite author is probably Dostoevsky. For non-fiction, I’d choose The Republic by Plato.
